Changing your television service can help, My Mother did this last year and saved $50 a month, just doing this. For us, I don’t watch too much television so I just went with Netflix and spend way less than most.
Number 2 on the list is looking at your food bill. I thought we were doing fine, didn’t overspend on food, but I was very mistaken, I just kept doing what we do, and at the end of the month, I looked at the bank statement. We were both surprised by how much we spent on food. Then we figured out a plan and saved $200 a month doing that.
Taking a look at number 3, take advantage of online deals. This is a great way too, there are plenty of people saving hundreds doing this, we have apps now like Ibotta and others that will help us save a lot. So be sure to check some of those apps out. I have an article about that here
Number 4 is cut every category just a little bit, Basically slim down on the expenses, no matter how small. We can all do this. Just takes a little time and you’ll get it!
Looking at number 5, find a way to cut back on big expenses. This is something that most of us can do. If you don’t have big expenses, then you’re winning already.
Number 6 is switch to cash for your daily expenses, this works very well. I find that it is very easy to swipe the debit card but when you have to hand over cash it’s harder. You don’t want to spend it when it’s cash, a card isn’t something that is felt fast. Make sense? Hope so.
I could not resist commenting. Exceptionally well written!
